Tamila Nedumthodan, RDH
I joined Westmount Dental in 2012 and am enjoying every part of the clinic and our great team. I graduated with honours from Regency Dental Hygiene Academy in 2011 and was a recipient of the Golden Scaler Award for 2012.
My objective during practice is focused on patient care and overall wellness. It is aimed in educating and motivating patients to achieve their optimum health at all times.
I have been married for 19 years and am blessed with 3 children. During my free time, I like to read, swim, and spend time with friends and family.
Kathleen Nguyen, RDH
Hello, I’m Kathleen. I graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2017 from the University of Alberta. Afterwards, I continued on with my education to receive my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene Specialization in 2018, with focus on periodontal disease and implants. In school, I received the College of Registered Dental Hygienists Association Leadership Award of 2017-2018.
As a dental professional, I believe in a comfortable, personalized approach when it comes to high quality patient-centered care, in order to promote the most optimal oral health and well-being of my patients.
Personally, I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, however, I do speak fluently in Vietnamese. Aside from work, I enjoy weight-lifting, badminton, eating out, playing with my fur baby—Kobe—and spending quality time with family and friends.
Joshua Tua, RDH
Hello, my name is Josh. I am delighted to be a part of Westmount Dental Centre.
I graduated from the Dental Hygiene program with Honors at the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries in 2021.
As a Registered Dental Hygienist, I aim to provide optimal oral health care through patient-centred, individualized care. I ensure that each patient has a positive experience during their visit. I believe in the importance of preventative healthcare, which is why I am passionate about maintaining good oral health.
Outside of my profession, I enjoy travelling, spending time with friends and family, and playing video games.
Khushali Patel
Hello, I am Khushali and - as my name means “happiness” - I proudly recognize myself as a part of the Westmount Dental Team.
I graduated as a Dental Hygienist with Honors in 2019 from Georgian College in Ontario. My ultimate goal as a hygienist is to work collaboratively with my patients to help achieve not only a healthy, confident smile, but also sustainable overall health. I continue to educate myself in the field of dental hygiene by attending various seminars, courses and conventions every year.
Personally, I grew up in India and I immigrated to Canada when I was 17. Besides work, I enjoy doing what most people do: good food, music, travelling with friends, and staying connected to my family overseas.
Mackenzie Ouellette
Hi, my name is Mackenzie and I am proud to be a part of the Westmount Dental team. I recently graduated from the U of A with a BSc Dental Hygiene Specialization. During my time at the U of A I had the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, including those with complex needs.
My goal as a Registered Dental Hygienist is to help all my patients to improve and maintain their oral health. The comfort of my patients is very important to me. I hope that anyone who enters my chair has a good experience and leaves with more knowledge about their oral health than they came in with.
I grew up just south of the city of Beaumont, Alberta. When I am not at work, I love to travel, eat good food, and spend time playing cards with family.
Ryan Capule
Ryan graduated from Oxford College in Scarborough in 2014. He is very skilled in creating a welcoming, proficient, and calming atmosphere where our patients can feel relaxed and confident that their hygiene care is the finest service offered.
Ryan ensures the safety of his patients and our team as he feels this is of utmost importance. He maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and on line seminars. He is very involved in professional development within office’s hygiene department.
Outside of his work, his interest includes watching and playing basketball, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
