They've been so amazing. I was left waiting for over an hour at another office for a tooth removal only for them to say they "Didn't know I was here" after checking in and having a conversation with the front desk. Then I was told I'd have to wait another 2-3 weeks for another appointment. I was so fed up and filled with dread about having a tooth removed I knew I needed it done that day. I called westmount dental and they were so understanding. Dr.maryam was able to see me later that evening and pulled out my broken tooth in what felt like 5 seconds. Manny was very helpful, giving me the encouragment and info I needed. I did have to go back the next day to have it cleaned and repacked in which Dr.Aman (I think) was so calm and relaxed and got it fixed up in no time. I'll be switching dentists to them! if you prefer to be treated with respect and as a human go and see them!

I recently had several visits to Westmount Dental Centre for the extractions of my teeth due to gum disease with eventual denture setup later. Today I cam back for a post-operative examination with a very good experience with Dr. Maryam Abtabi & I really want to commend on her exceptional services with patience & understanding to explain to me what to expect which put me at ease. I was totally relieved especially after some misunderstanding after the extraction the day before that I felt very stressful for the whole night that I couldn't sleep. I would highly recommend Dr. Maryam Abtabi to anyone who need dental services from a professional, caring & patient dentist & a big thanks to Dr. Maryam Abtabi. I also like to express my sincere gratitude to Rania the receptionist that helped me book the next post-operative appointment as she's very friendly, patient, empathetic & listened to my concerns like a long time friend. She really made my day & I think she's really an assets to Westmount Dental Centre.

If you are in need of an awesome dentist, Dr. Rosen Karanov is the person you need to see. He is professional, kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Karanov came to my rescue last week when I had a dental emergency causing me to be in extreme pain. After two days of antibiotics I was able to eat normally. Fast forward to this morning, a week later, I was back in his chair for a root canal. He always explains what he is about to do, so I understand the procedure. That helps me feel comfortable and less anxious. I have heard from others that a root canal can be fairly lengthy, I was in and out in less than an hour and a half. Bravo to Dr. Karanov. So grateful to him and the team at Westmount Dental.

I've been coming here for years now & the level of service that I've been given here has been consistently good. Front staff are very helpful & friendly. The hygienist's (namely Josh) & assistant's have been great too. Shout-out to Dr.Sherry who made my recent experience much easier when I got crown work done. She's been awesome & I'm very fortunate & grateful to have her as my dentist. Anyone looking for a new & reliable dentist should give this place a chance. Also, if you have kids, they have arcade machines by the waiting area.

We had such a great experience with Dr. Sherri! She is amazing with kids and really takes the time to make them feel comfortable. My daughter was a little nervous at first, but Dr. Sherri was so patient and kind that she quickly felt at ease. I also really appreciate how she explains everything clearly, both to me and to my daughter, so we always know what's happening and why. It's obvious she genuinely cares about her patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Sherri to any parent looking for a wonderful dentist for their child!

Due to horrendous dental emergency affecting my molar Westmount dental was able to accommodate me in such a way that was so honourable, that I am truly great for their service. I cannot say enough positive things about Westmount Dental Centre. The staff is wonderful, and Dr. Dunia Draca is the absolute best Dentist. Having had some bad experiences elsewhere, I was quite hesitant about any dental work. Dr. Dunia Draca puts you at ease and even though I have had multiple freezing's in the last month, I could hardly feel the needles at all. Thank you folks, be seeing again in the future.

Dr Kalim Nafisiyazdi

General Dentist

Dr. Kalim's academic journey began at The University of Calgary where he completed a Bachelor of Biological Sciences degree with Distinction. He then obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Sydney. Dr. Kalim is dedicated to actively listening to his patients, investing time to understand their desires and requirements, all while maintaining a welcoming demeanor to ensure a comfortable experience at the dentist's office.

Outside of Dentistry, Dr. Kalim enjoys spending time with family, friends, and his dog. He also likes to watch movies, travel, and swim (when the weather permits!).
Dr Pawan Nyachhyon

General Dentist

Dr. Pawan Nyachhyon received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Sindh in 1998. After being licensed as a dentist in Alberta, he began practicing general dentistry at Westmount Dental.

Dr. Nyachhyon is committed to provide quality dental care for the well-being of his patients. His distinctive blend of artistic and technical dexterity has succeeded to create a long-lasting smile in many patients.

While an active member of Canadian Dental Association and Alberta Dental Association, he is a stanch supporter of lifetime learning to stay abreast with current trends in dentistry in order to improve his patient’s oral health.

Dr. Nyachhyon loves to read, travel, and listen to the music. He volunteers in his community events, and in spare time he enjoys swimming, yoga, and spending time with his wife and children.
Dr Yashpreet Mann

General Dentist

I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba where I studied Microbiology and Immunology followed by obtaining my Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Manitoba

I spent my time working in rural Manitoba practicing all fields of dentistry with a focus on oral surgery root canals, and dental implants.

I moved to Edmonton in 2022 and continue to deliver quality care in order to meet our patient's expectations.

If I'm not working at Westmount Dental Centre then you can find me outdoors skiing/snowboarding, watching football and hockey, or out trying a new restaurant.
Dr Maryam Abtahi

General Dentist

Dr Abtahi is a General Dentist who received her first dental degree from University of Sharjah in Dubai, and a second dental degree from University of Alberta in 2020.

Beyond dentistry, Dr Abtahi has three master degrees in business from Silicon Valley, and Dubai.

She enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry and takes time to educate her patients about their oral health and options available to them.

During her spare time, Dr Abtahi loves to read poetry, go for walks and spend time with her family.

Dr. Abtahi is fluent in English, Farsi and can get by with Spanish.
Dr Divya Sharma

General Dentist

Dr. Sharma is a general Dentist who started her academic journey in India, where she received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from M.D. University in 2005. After gaining experience as a Dentist in India, Dr. Sharma moved to Canada and re-educated herself with a second dental degree from the University of Alberta in 2021. Dr. Sharma spent 4+ years in Newfoundland living and working with the rural fishing community, making her competent and confident in treating a wide spectrum of cases.

She is qualified in recognizing and managing emergencies that occur in a dental practice. She believes in listening to the patient's concerns and treating them with kindness and compassion. In her free time, she likes to read, travel, pursue yoga and singing.
Dr Yasir Raza

General Dentist

Dr. Yasir Raza is a dedicated general dentist who began his dental journey in Pakistan graduating from Liaquat University Jamshoro in 2008. Following graduation, he was selected for a three-year residency program in Endodontics. After completing his residency training and examinations, he was awarded a FCPS - Fellowship in Operative Dentistry and Endodontics in 2015, recognizing his advanced expertise in restorative dentistry and root canal therapy.

Dr. Raza spent 7+ years in private practice, Driven by a commitment to professional growth and excellence, Dr. Raza relocated to Canada to continue his dental career. He gained valuable experience within the Canadian healthcare system, before being accepted into the prestigious Advanced Placement Program at the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry.

Dr. Raza graduated from University of Alberta with DDS in June2026. He has successfully completed both the Canadian and United States National Dental Board Examinations and is licensed to practice general dentistry in Alberta. He prefers to stay in Edmonton “calling it home “ and loves to serve the Albertans. Dr. Raza is particularly skilled in managing dental emergencies and is widely recognized for his expertise in root canal therapy, helping even the most anxious patients feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Raza has a special interest in pediatric dentistry and is especially passionate about caring for children. His philosophy of care emphasizes education, prevention, and shared decision-making, empowering patients and families to make informed choices about their oral health.

Dr Eni Benjamin Ibisanmi

General Dentist

Dr. Eni earned his Master of Dentistry from Griffith University in Australia and began his dental career in a semi-rural region, gaining experience across a wide range of dental needs. His clinical interests include oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and clear aligner therapy.

Before pursuing dentistry, Dr. Eni worked as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Southwestern College in the United States and a Doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Otago in New Zealand. Drawing on his background in teaching, Dr. Eni values clear communication and takes the time to explain treatment options, answer questions, and help patients feel informed and comfortable with their care.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Eni enjoys travelling and is an avid supporter of the Atlanta Falcons, Toronto Raptors, Super Eagles, and Socceroos. He also enjoys listening to a variety of music, including Afrobeats, blues, country, gospel, jazz, and reggae.
